Usually this is the essential node with the requested 4

character for this PVE

But the essential 4

character this time is

4

(the reward from Prodigal Sun)

How will it be played? Will they switch to the essential 3

or even worse the 2

We asked a dev about it on the Discord chat. He said that when Iceman was an essential a few runs ago, they had changed the node from

He confirmed it will revert back to the original team now that Jean Grey is an essential.

Boosted Jean Grey, Scarlet Witch, and Boosted Captain Marvel are absolutely killing in this event. Ten purple to do 8K damage to the enemy team, and 12 green to do 7800 plus four special tiles? Quite the bargain...

I've been tearing through nodes with Jean, 4thor and IM40. Thor is only there for cleanup duty, Scartlet Witch might be the better play

Also fun has been Jean, Switch, SL. With Switch and SL speeding up Jean, the goon nodes just fly by.

And SL is a great counter to Hood

What's better than 10 purple for 8K damage? EIGHT purple for 8K damage.

Wish I'd been smart enough to think of Star Lord on my own...I was focusing in on getting full rainbow coverage, so I went with boosted Captain Marvel.

When Jean Grey is boosted, Scarlet Witch is *always* the better play. She's essentially a cheat code to end waves/matches if you've got her champed and she's boosted.
