have joined the champion ranks since my last update. They, uh, did so in the span of about ten days. Having an ISO hoard helped with that.

should get her 13th cover in the next week or so. Still don't have Wasp. Have a Carnage cover in the queue, but

is coming up as a daily drop, and she's the only 5* I currently don't have rostered. Plus, there are always new releases coming. Just don't think I'm going to keep that Carnage cover. Did get an Agent Venom, though, so Wasp is the only available (and desired) 4* I don't have rostered.

My 5* roster has also grown reasonably well all things considered. I have all 5* except Phoenix rostered. , and are all at 4+ covers. Every 5* I have has two covers except , , and . I'm not leveling my 5* beyond 255 for quite a long time, though. Maybe if and when I reach the point of having most or all 4* championed. Probably not before.

The above hasn't changed, 'cept that Thanos has risen to 1/1/3 relatively quickly, tying him with 5* Cap for my most-covered 5*. I am under zero illusions of max-covering him before he gets pushed out of the pool, but if I could get him to 6 or 7 covers, that would still be pretty sweet.

Major area of concentration at the moment. Primary focus is to champ every character who is fully covered. Deadpool is in process, Teen Jean and Thing are next up on the lists (I have my 13th Thing cover coming in a daily drop in one week's time). Otherwise, get as many covers as I can, reap champion rewards and boost characters as I can.

On the five star front, I continued to pull just latest and I've been extremely lucky. I now have my second champ 5* with Dr Strange at 451. I also got my 13th cover for Widow. There were zero dupes pulled for either which was nice. On the 4* front, I've champed Peggy Carter, Invisible Woman and Kate Bishop.

That will be the last of my "must haves" 3* championed. A few of my 2* already outrank most of my 3*, so I got to fix that. Going forward I plan on slowly bringing up everyone as well as finally starting to put some iso into my sadly undercovered 4*s. It won't mean much, but maybe I'll sneak out a few more Clash of the Titans matches here and there. The end goal is still to level everybody and now just includes also championing them too.

End of Year Notes
1. 11 4* champs. 2 more from the previous update. I never felt was ever worth champing, but I had a history of drawing covers for her so I figured I might as well get the champ rewards, and true enough she's already gotten 3 covers in the past 1 month. was different though, as I felt she was good enough to help me hold the fort in PVP when boosted, so I thought she would be a good investment in ISO.
2. Starting to bring up more 4*s to my soft-caps of lvl120 and lvl160 for lower covered characters. The lvl120 area which I reserve for lower covered characters possibly good enough for CotT is really starting to get fleshed out, though I should get to upgrading a couple of them to the lvl 160 area.
3. Only 3 unchamped max covered 4*s left for now, , with a good number of awesome to decent ones just 1-3 covers away from max. My new plan is to leave all unmaxed characters alone for now and focus on championing any max covered characters remaining to reduce wasted LT draws, while continuing to draw LTs to try and cover up those unmaxed characters (I'm looking at you and ). Will re-order leveling priority if any better ones are maxed.
4. Not much progress on the 5* front. 5*s have dried up for me after a period where I managed 9 5*s out of 31 pulls, since then it's just been 2 from 35.
5. And of those two 5*s drawn, once again none has been a . It has now been 281 days since my last OML draw.
6. First batch of 3*s have entered the lvl200 area.
7. And of course that means my enters the lvl200 territories as well, though with my new 4* leveling plan I might be abandoning this Fury leveling plan soon.
8. As of recent seasons I've been placing pretty consistently at least T25 in almost all PVPs (only failed twice so far this season), so coupled with random token draws this has really sped up my 3* levels a lot over the past 1-2 months. Hopefully this means I can gain access to my second set of 4* rewards soon.
9. I've inserted a couple new info into my roster spreadsheet which I'm going to start tracking as well: total ISO to cap, total ISO to max, and total ISO invested (including champion cost and ISO invested in farming). Total ISO invested could not take into account the ISO cost decrease sometime last year, so I'm going to take it at it is.

Surprisingly my unleveled 1*s and my current 2* farm of 1 character adds up to 200k worth of ISO required to max out, a pretty significant amount. Either way, I'm probably going to be busy in 2017.

Notes over the past month
1. 12th and 13th champed 4* in the house.

I figured would be useful for PVE, and got a pleasant surprise using him in PVP as well, so champing him was a good move. And finally I get

3. Finally experienced the pain of selling 5*s after drawing 2

on my last 5 LTs. But otherwise some small progress on the 5* front as I added

drawn, so it's 312 days since my last drawn. Currently taking bets on me getting this streak to the 1 year mark.
5. ISO usage and debt

ISO to cap (3* and above): 5.8M ISO to max (3* and above): 16.6M ISO invested (all characters): 13.4M Pumping 500K of ISO in a month, while creating another 600K worth of debt, though if I remove the debt caused by my 5*s it becomes significantly lesser

ISO to cap (3*-4*): 5.2M (Previous Update: 3.9M) ISO to max (3*-4*): 10.6 (Previous Update: 10.4M) Though this data makes the rate at which my ISO debt increased even scarier. A 1.3M increase over the the course of a month is almost triple what I earned and pumped into my characters. Still, it's a more accurate measure of my ISO debt since it doesn't take into account the 5*s. Probably will be looking at this number instead in the future.

My personal end game is drifting further and further away. No choice but to keep grinding on.

I have my first 13 covered 4* Wolverine (Xforce) I have not champed him because he's only ranked mid range. Trying to save for my first team to be all top tier, and that will likely happen this weekend when I open 700+ CP I've been hoarding and if I don't get what I need I will buy several covers to get a 4* team of Punisher (MAX), Iron Man (Hulkbuster), and Peggy Carter (Captain America).

Nova, Starlord, Cho, Goddess Thor, Jean Grey and Antman have all gotten championed. Most of my 4* roster is at 11,12 or 13 covers now. I've gotten enough "14th covers" from progression rewards and heroic tokens that I haven't opened a legendary token in a while now. I have 450 command points and 17 latest legends tokens stockpiled at the moment. If I can get through my backlog I'll start opening them.

My last batch of legendary pulls gave me a Silver Surfer red and blue cover to bring him to 1/1/1. That really doesn't change anything for me and 5* characters are still just an afterthought at this point. Hopefully in 2017 some of them start to become useful.

Day 442 Edition:

The "planless plan" has continued the last 50 days. People who got a 14th cover and got champed were: Iceman, Elektra, The Thing, Invisible Woman, Ghost Rider and Punisher Max. War Machine has 3 covers in queue that should be champ levels in a few days and Mr F's single cover is probably going to go to ISO again as I will probably champion Drax or Howard next depending on the next few days.

I opened my command point stash and got lucky with 5*'s and only having to sell a Red Hulk and a Venom. They are both 12 cover problem children with 2 colors at 5 covers. One day I will fix this but other ones will probably take their place. BSS went up to 2/2/2 and Bruce Banner hit 0/2/3. A few more 5* covers in the right place and one of them might get leveled for PvE use.

Even though I blew my command point stash over a month ago I've been getting prizes and the occassional heroic token 4* cover that have kept the champion machine running. I'm now at 36 latest legends tokens and 887 command points. At some point I'll run out of people to champion and jump back into classic legends looking for those Old Man Logan colors I still havent' gotten.

Continuing the Farm on 3rd to 4th cycle. Those of you who do not sell 2*'s - to rebuild and continually earn rewards - are stunting your own progression.

Future plans:
Saving Taco Tokens until I reach around 200+ in each, looking for a vault to come up containing a 4* I really need. Besides keeping 500K+ in ISO, I'm planning to keep spending CP until too many 4* get 5 in colors that would produce potential duplicates that can't be used in time. Also, since HP is building at decent levels, I'll be running more shots at daily specials on vaults & the occasional buyout.

Got Thanos up to (3/0/0), Banner improves to 2/1/1, Strange to 2/1/0, Goblin to 1/0/1.

First Champs: Prof X (5/4/4), Cyclops (5/3/5), and Quake (5/4/4)
Went on a hot streak on Prof-X covers from a progression reward and hitting his purple in a vault, thinking he would be a very logical first 4* champ. Then fortunately enough, the 4Clops vault actually contained his blue power and one of my lucky sons drew it on the first 5x out of 20. Acquired another Red cover from a CP draw, so after a long thought process I bought the final cover with 120 CP... 2nd champ!
These guys led to hitting 900 in PvP for only the 2nd time ever.
Last week, had a green Quake (6/5/2) cover expiring so I decided to make a run at Scarlet Witch champ levels since she was close to lvl 183 where it awards a Quake Blue. It took a week, but happened to get a SW cover from an Elite token. Then as a last ditch effort, I had my other son run as many taco tokens as it would take to get another SW from a Deadpool vault. It took 56 draws out of 66 tacos, for a chance at one of the 5 covers in the 300 item vault. Got it.
Brought Moon Knight (5/3/3) up to level 206 since he or XFW plays very well with champed 4Clops and PX.
ISO has still been maintaining around 500K after spiking up and down for the champing process.

Continuing the Farm on 3rd and 4th cycle. Strongly suggest selling 2*'s - to rebuild and continually earn rewards - which progresses your 3*'s and more.

Plans:
Saving Taco Tokens until I reach around 200+ in each, looking for a vault to come up containing a 4* I really need. Up to 86 Sweet, but used a bunch of Savory as stated above for SW -> Quake (back down to 18).
Besides keeping 500K+ in ISO, I'm planning to keep using CP on Classic token draws until too many 4* get 5 in colors that would produce potential duplicates that can't be used in time. Now that I have three 4* champs, and XFW hoping for a 14th, there are only 13 spots where covers could be 6th in that color. so I have all 5-stars now (until Black Panther gets released tomorrow

). No one is really usable other than OML (2/3/2 - 315) and I really just still use him for PVE.

I now have 15 4*s champed, adding 3 since last time (4-Pool, Thing and Star-Lord). Champs are now:

I'm starting to hoard my LTs and CPs now that I'm at the point where i'm more at risk of having to sell a cover vs. using it. If Black Panther ends up being super awesome, I might throw what i've saved up so far while he, Dr Strange and Thanos are still in Latest Legends rotation. BP is one of my favorite characters, so I'm really hoping he's super awesome and not a let-down

Other than that, I want to first get my 2* farm back in full swing. Then, I plan on moving these guys up to 250:

At that point, i'll probably start using my LTs/CP unless i've spent it all on trying to get BP. That way, I have those who I really want to champ much more ready to level once that 14th cover comes. The only other 4*s at the moment that I will invest later down the road would be

, but both are poorly covered at this point.

I'm in no rush to bring up my 5*s, as they are all minimally covered, and I'm ok with that.

Champed: Everyone champed again. Had a frustrating few weeks where I had up to 10 red and black

waiting for a purple, but finally got her over the hump.
Maxxed: No one in imminent danger of maxxing -- main group is in the low 120s/high 110s, with

Civil War provided me cover numbers 12, 13, and 14 for Red Hulk so he's my newest Champion, #10 of the 4-stars.

The Legendary from that provided me Ant-Man cover #13. Yay! But it was a color I was already maxed out on. Boo! I still won Ant-Man's Crash of the Titans today. Yay! The Legendary from that gave me an Ant-Man cover I could use. HOORAY! Now I'm saving the ISO I need to Champion him. It won't take long.

Up to about 2 weeks ago I was still leveling 4 stars based upon the DPD ledge rota. I hit a point where it would be 60 plus days before I needed to level another toon up so I was hoarding a bit. Then fate gave me 3 separate covers for the toons that I can level but are nowhere near their roster ledge slot. So ive had to level punisher and champ him, and nova and then war machine. After that its mk who I dropped today.

I need to level prof x if only to stop receiving the covers all the time.

February offseason report!

Last month: with 15 4* champs, I was going to take it "easy" this season, restocking ISO and mulling over what 4*s to champ next.

Ha! Those plans went out the window quickly.

After champing Quake, I stumbled into a bunch of Medusa and Moon Knight covers, so I felt compelled to champ both before their covers expired. To do so, I had to mortgage my entire 2* farm, which I'm just now starting to rebuild.

In addition, I have a bunch of 3* Thanos covers withering in my queue, as well as Peggy covers expiring in two weeks, so both need to get champed as well.

All told, I need about one million ISO to rebuild my 2*s and champ Thanos and Peggy. I pull in about 300k ISO/week, so that's what I'll be doing this season.

I kept OML at 360, working well there just now for me. No plans for spending iso on any 5*s for the foreseeable future.

I've been spending Cp/LT as they come in, and I'm going to continue with that for now. I'm still chucking away covers, but with 20 champs, I'm chucking less. Working my way through characters as the covers drop just now, which means that Drax, Sam and Eddie are all actually candidates right now.

I got 5 5* covers across the season, is still feeling like progress. Given how much rougher civil war sounded for some big rosters, still not in a rush to get there, and have no desire to go down the hoard route. Still sounds like stagnation to me. Changed alliance this season, which has made things more interesting again.

The first batch of 3*s have hit the LT at 227, alongside with a few 4*s reaching 280/290, so everything is ticking along nicely there.
