Event suggestion: "Gulag Escape" with choice of 4* reward

Growth Industry & Amadeus' Inferno are fun events designed to award dedicated players with strong rosters access to a specific 4-star character.

I'm suggesting another of these tough, rewarding mini-gauntlets, but with a bit of choice in which cover the player would like to earn. Thematically it could center on a breakout from the Gulag.

The event begins with an initial mission which unlocks a choice of 2 nodes. Once one of those nodes is complete, the other is locked, so only one can be completed. The first leg of the event rewards a cover for one of two 3-star heroes. The next leg of the event culminates in one of three difficult challenges that earn one of three 4-star heroes.

In this example mockup, the player has completed the first leg and is on the second-to-last mission. Whichever of the 2 available nodes he chooses (or is able) to finish will unlock only 2 of the last 3 nodes. So if there is a particular cover he wishes to acquire and fight for he can't progress blindly.

This would be a nice way to give players options on cover progression, adding choice besides just who to level. In addition, the branching paths could almost create a narrative of their own--e.g. say Team Cap was the prisoners--one might chose to save Scarlet Witch or Falcon, then have to choose between Ant-Man or Bucky or Punisher--not to mention the difficulty of the specific nodes might get a player to change their direction.

Please consider this suggestion, or something like it. Being able to choose a reward would create a strong connection to a given character and a larger satisfaction in earning them, as well as allow us a bit of direction in roster building.

Ideally, this event could run every 2-3 months, with a fresh rotation of characters to choose from.

I think events like this are a good idea because they mean that second time around you're not just playing the same event again, you can take a different path.
