I was trying to find out when the last time this event was run, since I didn't remember the artwork in the first sub. According to my research, it was around November, making it about 7 months between runs. Although, since the subs didn't exist in the earlier runs, I guess it's kinda new?

Also, both the Gauntlet and the first slice end at the same time, so if you are trying to take your time for the HB cover AND trying to place well, maybe pick a later slice.

Pretty sure this was the one that was run, and then run again about two weeks later prompting some small outcry on the forums and a strangely surprised "Oh! We didn't realize that burn out was a thing!" comment from one of the devs. Apparently, they still don't.

Oh hey, let's give Venom a Lieutenant (purple feeder). I am stunned every other turn, making it impossible to kill the stupid healer unless you save all of your AP and unload at once.

Surprisingly i like this new Juggernaut Heroic. I know it can still be a pain with goons feeding purple and red but the addition of subs does make it actually more bearable as there are more rewards given out.

The difficulty level is actually on par with most other events that are run these days so there's consistency.

I'm going to give the devs a thumbs up for this. 'This' meaning addressing some of the concerns we had for this Heroic in the previous run many moons ago, namely, the lack of subs and sub rewards and the lack of variety of featured villains. At least now they have Doc Ock featured in the 1st sub. Let's see what villain is featured in 2nd and 3rd sub.

Would still have liked a black cover for Panther though

Excited to get my first BP cover, started the event, lost every available character within two nodes.

Thanks again to D3 for an enjoyable experience. Yeah, that's about all there is to say, because tonight will be the last time there will be any point to me opening up this PvE.

Edit: Just remembered I had my level 15 MNM available, so not every available character was lost.

I don't care at all about this event but I needed to use kits before I even opened up the first sub. 3 level 200ish feeder nodes before the event even starts?

I wouldn't have a problem with this pve, IF they had let me use all my characters. There are at least 8 nodes that do significant damage on the first pass with only 12 characters available. Of the 12 characters, 4 are useless because I don't have covers or they are just too weak. This is not a puzzle, it's just another way to make you waste resources.

Actually in terms of number of usable characters, things have improved.

Anyway Heroics have always favored those with a big and well covered roster.

It's just one of those events you have to manage your own expectations once you see the roster available to you and the enemies featured.

Finally, mostly out of spite and stubbornness, made it to what I'm assuming is the node you're talking about.

After being stunned about 100 times, realized I should have just left well enough alone last night and kept my word to not bother with this PvE. The good news is, I only lost one team before giving up, so I guess I can be trained. It took a couple experiences for D3 to drive the point home, but I'm done.

That was one annoying node. I didn't die to it, but it sure took long enough.

26,000 points looks.. awfully high, even though I have two of the essentials (CStorm & BP, but BP has just two covers). Hope I can pull it off, but man I hate heroics. At least GSBW is a reinforcement in the first sub, and mine is quite usable (4/2/3).

My GSBW is sitting at 3/5/4, i know, wrong covers.. but this is the first time i have taken her out for a spin.. and i have to say.. impressive! Too bad it takes FORVER to get any of her abilities ready!

With BP having 0

, Storm and DP are the only AOE available to use in this PVE for me.. but was able to complete all subs and essentials.. it did take a while, and used all my health packs and almost a full 2nd set of them when they regenerated... but they are doable. Steve Rogers helps loads in this thing.
